Had this idea years ago, before I even started watching X Files, a few seasons in. Andrew Ross’s independent parody, with more than two characters reminded me, and I finally figured out how to make it work.
“Who took your sister?” said Scully to Mulder.
“I have a few theories,” said the agent with the folder.
“A van with bright headlights?” said Dana to Fox.
“An alien spacecraft!” said the fed to the doc.
“He can’t be a mutant,” said Scully to Mulder.
“Then what’s that strange odor?” said the agent with the folder.
“Well, we are in a sewer,” said Dana to Fox.
“A bile-sucking monster!” said the fed to the doc.
“Who took your sister?” said Scully to Mulder.
“I’m sure she was murdered,” said the agent with the folder.
“A psychopath killer?” said Dana to Fox.
“A psychokinetic!” said the fed to the doc.
“He’s got metal implants,” said Scully to Mulder.
“They’re alien trackers,” said the agent with the folder.
“It’s Vietnam shrapnel,” said Dana to Fox.
“Does shrapnel have bar codes?” said the fed to the doc.
“Who took your sister?” said Scully to Mulder.
“I’m sure she ‘s still living,” said the agent with the folder.
“A child molester?” said Dana to Fox.
“With CIA backup!” said the fed to the doc.
“There’s nothing to prove it,” said Scully to Mulder.
“The proof’s in that building,” said the agent with the folder.
“Let’s get a search warrant,” said Dana to Fox.
“We’ll deal with that later!” said the fed to the doc.
“Who took your sister?” said Scully to Mulder.
“Did they raise her in secret?” said the agent with the folder.
“Or was that an imposer?” said Dana to Fox.
“No, they killed her and cloned her!” said the fed to the doc.
“The gate’s chained and padlocked,” said Scully to Mulder.
“We’ve got to get in there,” said the agent with the folder.
“I’ll get the bolt cutters,” said Dana to Fox.
“We’ll ram it with the rental!” said the fed to the doc.
