He’s done worse. Why must this one be the first?
Stormy Daniels! This one hardly holds a candle
To the more apparent crimes.
Life’s absurd!
All the things left undeterred.
Stormy Daniels! Not obstruction, coups, or vandals
And much more alleged crime.
Chorus: |
If he does obey, the boys in blue will get him. If he tries to stay, will the governor abet him? All he did was pay so voters would elect him Ignorant of the score. |
But the trial’s
Not for hoarding secret files
Stormy Daniels! With so many later scandals,
A minor campaign crime.
Ran on the claim of a crime covered up.
After he won he would still bring it up.
Chants from the crowd that he won’t interrupt.
The media tallies the calls at his rallies to
“Lock her up!”
E-mail! E-mail!
The irony is not too hard to see.
So uncool that when history’s taught in school
Stormy Daniels, in the presidential annals,
Is the first indicted crime.
