Reality and sense of time slows down or flashes by.
Music is the focus. I replace or blur my room.
It feels just like experience. I’m not sure I know why.

Gentle friendly hugs turn to lethal acts of war.
This truth will bring us misery ’til there’s a shot or pill.
A breath transmits a smidgen. A shout can carry more.
But music is the motherlode. My song can make you ill.
