When humans get caught up in all their nasty little snits,
They don’t just claw the furniture, they blow the world to bits.
They’ll undo all the good they did, each bright and sunny page,
And blow their favorite pets in two, so thoughtless is their rage.

They’ll argue over politics, and neither side will budge,
’Til both are burned to cinders, or a sort of greasy smudge.
They’re even worse than cats are, in the way they hold a grudge.
He’s nobody’s Green-Eyes now.

So if you love your owners, don’t ever let them fight.
Their pride will never let them see that neither side is right.
They’ll turn the world to ashes over battles economic,
And you may be the victim, slowly growing catatomic.

And if you’re owned by generals, here’s something you can do:
Deprive them of testosterone with a well-placed swipe or two.
Discourage them from fighting, the way they did with you,
