Oh, I could ride on an ant, but the kids believe I can’t.
The ray gun that I built will never shrink.
But it shrinks, and they shrank, and the laser is to thank.
They’re somewhere in this garbage bag, I think.

(Chorus)

Chorus: Please don’t flip your lid
Over what I did,
But I blew up the baby and I
Shrunk all the kids.

If we use a fine-toothed comb, we may find them as they roam
The wild backyard jungle where they’ve gone.
And if only I had known just how small they would have grown,
For their sakes I just might have mowed the lawn.

(Chorus)

Any dad would have agreed that it’s scary to conceive
Where a toddler grown Godzilla-size could lead.
If a little baby’s sweet, then a lot makes life complete.
But how much baby do we really need?

(Chorus)
